POETRY
let’s get into our feels.
Herein lies a collection of some of my work. Sad and/or moving musings on love, pain, trauma, beauty, family, life, etc.
Take a look around. Leave a comment if you feel so inclined.

hairpin turn
A rap on the door and a lift to your hip.
Heels in your back and that uncontrollable laugh…
Pedaling Backwards on a 10 Speed
Blood red mother, hold me close.
Let my pain transfer to your hem.
Hold me.
Hold them…
fruit sugar
I once yearned to be close to god.
Whispering prayers and fingering through violent pages.
Spirituality comes in phases…
when will the petals unfurl?
The stems have leaves chlorophylled to the seams.
Intoxicating shades of green.
Pile on more soil.
Fertilizer and neem oil…
borderline
I think it was ‘96 or maybe ‘97.
Ripping down the hill on an ATV.
Salamander skin and bottle rocket shriek…
molotov the memory
Drag my feet across the space of time.
Down the rungs of laddered rooms.
So many doors. Most are locked now…
“tears are words that need to be written”
Or so he said
The god of my youth
Was a haughty friend…
